The Problem

Dirt Is Expensive

Every open hose and hydraulic port is an opportunity for contamination to enter the system.

Contamination can contribute to:

  • Premature component wear
  • Hydraulic failures
  • Increased maintenance costs
  • Unplanned downtime

The Solution

Identification Meets Protection

Every hose must be identified before removal. QuickShield combines hose identification and contamination control into a single process.

✔ Immediate protection of open ports

✔ Positive hose and component identification

✔ No temporary labels or cable ties required

✔ Reusable laser engraved numbering system

Why QuickShield?

QuickShield cap and plug kits are designed to improve how hydraulic systems are managed during maintenance. Each fitting is laser-engraved so hosing can be sealed and identified the moment they are disconnected — minimising the need for zip ties or temporary labels.

Traditional hose labeling methods, such as zip ties, often fail during hydraulic changeouts. New components typically arrive without fittings, so original fittings must be transferred. To access the hex, zip ties are cut off — removing identification at the worst possible time.

Zip ties are also prone to being snagged and torn off when pulling hoses through tight chassis spaces, creating even more risk of misidentification.

By sealing open hoses and components immediately, QuickShield helps reduce the chance of dust and debris entering hydraulic systems during component change-outs. In harsh mining and heavy-equipment environments where contamination is unavoidable, this simple process helps protect pumps, valves and cylinders from premature wear or failure.

Every kit is supplied in a durable case with CNC-cut EVA foam, giving each fitting its own place. Fittings must be threaded together to sit correctly in the foam insert, encouraging clean fittings and keeping the kit organised so fittings don’t go missing.

QuickShield promotes better hydraulic hygiene — helping technicians keep systems cleaner, more organised and better protected during maintenance.
